Chair Yoga for Every Body

This Chair Yoga class is a stretching and strengthening session with a focus on increasing/maintaining mobility. We will incorporate some breath-work, face yoga, and meditation as well. The session will last around 45 minutes. We will provide a chair, but you are free to bring your own if you have a style of chair you prefer. If you would like a mat under your chair for additional stability, please bring one. The instructor can help you place the mat on the floor and pick it up at the end, if needed. This session will be led by Brittany Nocella, library assistant.

Chair Yoga for Every Body meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday.  Registration is required. You must register for each individual session you plan to attend. Your registration is NOT automatically recurring. A waiver must be signed prior to participation, so plan to come a few minutes early to sign if you have not yet done so.

About the instructor: Brittany has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and led the Kids Yoga program at the library in Summer 2025. She completed a YTT 200 hour yoga certification in April 2025. She is super excited to begin leading chair yoga for every body at the library this year!
