Community Conversation on AI: Malfunctions and Warnings

Participants will watch a video dissecting how xAI’s chatbot, Grok, malfunctioned in the summer of 2025, culminating in referring to itself as ‘MechaHitler’. The video shares basic definitions of AI, a deep dive into why the ‘MechaHitler’ episode occurred, what companies are doing to improve safety, and the larger ramifications.
After watching the video there will be a facilitated discussion.
