About the Artist:
Hello! My name is Leanna Lezzi, and I am an artist from Atco, New Jersey. I am 21 years old, and have graduated from Camden County College with an Associates Degree in Fine Art. I am currently working on completing my Bachelors Degree in Fine Art at Rowan University. Art has always been part of my life since I was a small child, and will continue to be for the rest of my life.
I have a huge fascination in roller coasters from the way they work, to how they feel, to riding them, to what they mean artistically. They are a big part of my life, most of my summers revolve around theme parks and adrenaline! My other hobbies include playing the drums, ukulele, and piano; and of course, cuddling with my beloved dog Marley.
I have exhibited in other art shows, including three shows at Camden County College and a virtual exhibition for The Holy Art Gallery. I am hopeful and excited for my future as an artist, and I am forever grateful for this opportunity!
About this Exhibition:
“Brain Purge” – My passion for art is immeasurable. My inspiration comes from daily life, music, roller coasters, and my imagination. I feel it is important to be open to all different types of genres and styles. I mainly work in oil paint, however I do enjoy dabbling in other mediums here and there, such as colored pencils, markers, and oil pastels. It is a beautiful thing to create your own reality and put all your soul and emotion into it. Letting my brain go free on a canvas is a very liberating feeling. Anything is possible! I strive to inspire thought and imagination, alternative ways of thinking, provoke excitement and happiness, and most importantly, enjoy all that I do.
