Free Summer Meals Program (Ages 4-17)

Waterford Township Library will be partnering with the Food Bank of South Jersey to host a Free Summer Meals Program for children and teens ages 4-17. This program is intended to replace school breakfast and lunch by providing a box filled with a week’s worth of shelf stable meals.
To receive a meal box for your child you must register for each distribution day. We will only ask for contact information.
Meal box distribution will occur on Tuesdays from 10am – 8pm. The first distribution day will be Tuesday, June 23rd and the final distribution day will be August, 25th.
Each child registered will receive a box with 5 lunches and 5 dinners (non-perishable).
We will open registration for the first distribution day on June 9th . Registration for each subsequent distribution day will open 14 days in advance. Without registration, meal boxes may be available on a first come, first served basis.
If there is a waitlist for a distribution day, please DO sign up for the waitlist. There are often cancellations and if our demand is much greater than our supply, we may be able to increase the number of meal boxes available.
If you are registered for a distribution day and do not pick up your meal box it will be given to a family on the waitlist.
No identification or income requirements are necessary to participate!
The intention of this program is to support any and all food in-secure households.
