Internet Basics Workshop

This Internet Basics workshop is for complete internet beginners. What do people MEAN when they tell you to “google” something? What the heck is a “tab”? A “Hot Key”? Is it single? If you ever found yourself wondering things like this, then my friend, this workshop is for you.
Do you have someone in your life who constantly asks you to look up business hours, or directions, or what became of the kid who played Doogie Howser, M.D.? Make your life simpler and tell them about this workshop! We all have that friend, and I can help them learn internet basics.
We will be going over some basic terminology, functionality, and navigation of internet browsers, search engines, and websites. There will be time to answer questions after the presentation, and we can explore a bit on the computers if time and space permits. This will be led by Brittany Nocella, library assistant.
