What is the WTPL Magic: The Gathering Card Game Group?
Are you or someone you know interested in playing Magic: The Gathering and don’t know where to start? Are you an experienced Magic: The Gathering player and want to connect with other players?
Enter a universe full of strategic fun, community engagement, and critical thinking! At Waterford Township Public Library, we strive to build a competitive yet collaborative atmosphere for all Magic: The Gathering players. Players can choose either to battle in Commander or Standard formats.
When and where will this event be held?
The Magic: The Gathering Card Game Group is held in the Waterford Township Public Library Meeting Room every 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
Who can join this event?
No prior experience is necessary! Members can range from complete beginners to highly experienced players. This public event is open to cardholders and non-cardholders aged 13+.
Does this event require outside materials?
Materials are provided, but are limited. If you are an experienced Magic: The Gathering Player, feel free to bring your own decks, playmats, dice, and more to make your gaming experience more personalized.
