Pack your Bag. We are off to Greece! Travel Presentation With Rita Wood

When you think of Greece, what are your thoughts:   Acropolis in Athens, beautiful islands of Greece,  and the food?  

This photographic  journey in the footsteps of Rita and St Paul  will have  beautiful photos of  captivating destinations,    culture and history and archeological ruins. You will see   the Acropolis,  ruins of Corinth and  Ephesus  in Turkey.     Be amazed  by   the UNESCO World Heritage Byzantine Monasteries in Meteora!  We will say farewell  at end of our photographic  tour of the  highlights of Greece  and  enjoy a  taste of Greek foods.

Presenter Bio:

Rita   T.  Wood embarked on a new adventure of creating a photographic portfolio of the many photographs taken on professional or personal journeys during her career and retirement.

Rita has traveled from the Arctic Circle to the Antarctica, throughout the United   States, Caribbean, Asia, Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific Islands.     Her claim to fame is that she has stepped foot on all seven continents.

An amateur photographer, (nonprofessional) her photographs have won many awards from Hammonton Arts Center, Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission @ Camden County College, part of the National Arts Program/Camden County Senior Citizens Art Show / New Jersey Senior Citizen Art Show, Gloucester County 4-H Fair.

Her works have been exhibited at the Hammonton Arts Center, NJ, Atlantic County West Library, Hammonton, NJ, Waterford Township Public Library, NJ, Gloucester County College, NJ and Jefferson Celebration of Life, Philadelphia, PA, and various locations for the NJ State Senior Citizen Art Show.

Professor Emerita, from Rutgers University, Rutgers Cooperative Extension she provided leadership for a county wide adult education program in Burlington County, NJ for 32 years. She retired from this position in 2002.

Ms. Wood received a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from Villa Maria College in Erie, Pennsylvania and her Master of Education in Adult Education from Rutgers, The State University of NJ.  She received numerous honors and awards throughout her career for her outstanding professional achievements in the field of education.

Ms. Wood has lectured throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.
