The Waterford Township Public Library is holding our second annual Local Author Day on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 from 10:00AM – 2:00 PM.
We are seeking local authors (South Jersey Region) to participate!
Our goal for the event is to create a space for local authors to promote their work, meet other local authors, interact with community members and readers, and have the opportunity to sell and sign copies of their books. The event will be free for all participants and attendees.
Day of Event Details
Each author will have a 5-6’ table assigned to them. Authors will be free to decorate and setup their table however they wish, so long as their setup does not interfere with their neighbors.
Table set up will take place between 9:00am – 9:30am.
There will be a coffee social for participating authors from 9:30am – 10:00am
Authors must remain set up until 2:00pm and should be cleared out by 2:45pm.
Each author will be given 1 chair, authors are welcome to bring an additional chair
Authors will be set up in the main library and meeting room
The library will provide coffee and lunch (pizza) for participating authors.
