Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) empowers teens to make their voices heard and actively contribute to the library and greater community. TAB is organized and run by teens. TAB members can advise the library on its services, policies, and collection. They can create, plan, and run the library programs or services that they want to see offered to the community. They can also initiate and carry out projects for the library.

TAB can be:

  • community service
  • a chance to hone your creative leadership, or strategic skills
  • a way to get behind-the-scenes at the library
  • a great thing to put on your college application or resume
  • an opportunity to hang out and do good things with other teens.

How do I Join TAB:

  • Get a library card (if you don’t have one). Library membership is free to all residents of Atco/Waterford Township. If you are a non-resident membership costs $45/year for an entire household.
  • Attend a monthly meeting
  • Complete the Volunteer Application (Below)
  • Must be aged 13-18 (entering 7th – 12th grade)
