Wire Wrapped Jewelry Workshop (Teens & Adults)
September 29 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The participants will be working with wire cutters and pliers and copper wire to make a beautiful bracelet
No wire wrapping experience necessary.
Instructor Jean Hasselhan Bio:
I have lived in Atco for over 50 years. During that time I have grown from being a daughter, to wife and nurse and now a Grandmom and jewelry artist.
I made my first piece of jewelry for my mom when I was a young girl and have been making jewelry ever since. In 2011 my friend convinced me to turn my life long passion into a business. Subsequently Made 4 U by Jean was born.
Although I have used several techniques to make jewelry, I now specialize in designing and creating wire wrapped and wire woven jewelry. I use precious metal wire to capture and compliment natural stones, shells, glass and whatever else you or I can find and turn them into unique pieces of wearable art.
